Rick (twin to Randy Combs) started racing in 1977 at Speedway Park. Throughout his career he mostly raced street stocks and mod stocks. In 1991 he won the Mod stock championship at Duke City Raceway. He raced one more year and then took a break until 2002 when he raced factory 4's at Sandia Motorsports Park. In 2003 he won the Hobby Stock championship at Sandia Motorsports Park. He got to race a few races at Duke City that year also and has also raced a couple of time at Hollywood Hills. He is the son of Loren Combs.
