Johnny Herrera

Johnny is married to Carla and has three children: Tyler, Tori, and Taylor. And not to leave the important members of the family out, there are two Scottie Terriers: Scottie and Smoke. One of Johnny's hobbies is golf.

Began racing locally in Albuquerque. Career Highlights: 1986 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year. 1990 World of Outlaws Most Improved Driver, 1996 King's Royal Winner, 1996 Knoxville Track Champion.  2005 Hard Charger Award Oskaloosa , Iowa Non Winged Challenge , 20 + World of Outlaws A main wins, numerous preliminary wins, 2005 -2006 SCOA Champion, has won All Star Circuit of Champions A mains, and has various wins at Hollywood Hills Speedway, Southern New Mexico Speedway, Thunder Raceway,and various other Southwest tracks. Johnny has driven for his parents, Joe and Martha Herrera, Guy Forbrook, Lonny Parsons, NASCAR legend Bill Wilburn, Craig Cormmack, Gil Sauter, and other various other famed car owners. He has competed at America's famed dirt tracks and has wins at Williams Grove, Eldora, Knoxville, and Las Vegas Dirt Track to name a few. Recently Johnny began racing non winged sprint cars and quickly found his way to Victory lane.
