Jeff's first car was a Hobby stock purchased turnkey in June 2000.  Duke City Raceway was home to begin with.   After some mistakes and bugging everyone about setup tips constantly, managed to get at least 1 main event win first year.  Got some more 2nd year along with winning the Inaugural Hobby Stock Special first year Chuck Jackson promoted DCR.  2nd Hobby stock special was his to win and Ronnie Bell edged him out on last lap after a little bobble. In 04 moved up to Street Stock, ground up build on car.   Finally was able to get a Championship at Hollywood Hills in 08, followed up by another on asphalt at Sandia in 09.  Props to Budlong Racing Engines for powering both those Championships, and HUGE THANKS to Bob Hanna and Sunrise Sweeping Services for his help for years now, greatly appreciated.  In 2010 let Richard Johnson con him into going into the Crate Late Models (yeah, that's the year he was not gonna race at all).  This new division means travel, visited Aztec, El Paso, Las Cruces, and Tularosa in 10.  Best main finish was a 3rd, did manage a couple of heat wins, and 5th in points in 4 Corners Late Model group for 10.  In 11 intend to get that first main event win, traveling same tracks but concentrating on Cruces.  Hoping Sandia dirt gets at least 1 or 2 shows.

"Can't forget to thank Precision Concrete Services for sponsorship.  It's my company, but it couldn't go without the team of great employees that get the work done, keeping the customers happy,  keeping the bottom line in the black despite this tough economy.  And most of all, I thank Margie, my wonderful/tolerant wife for supporting this racing obsession.  As many of you know she occasionally does the National Anthem at races, to perfection IMO.  I've got great kids - Audrey, Abby, and Chris.  Son in laws - Joshua Nava and Matt Cunningham.  Josh and Audrey gave us our favorite granddaughter - Natalie.  Matt and Abby have 2 onery boys Donovan and Dylan (they're still both our favorite grandsons).  Chris is staying clear of family and working on his degree in Architecture."
