Dave is the son of Howard Sheffield. He's raced at Speedway Park, Albuquerque Raceway, Sandia Motorsports Park and Aztec and Hollywood Hills.

 

Dave won the Streetstock Championship at Albuquerque Raceway when driving for the Fraziers

back in the 80s. Dave has three sons, Justin Sheffield , Kenneth Sheffield. and Michael Sheffield who drives the Pinto number 55 Cruiser.

 

Dave has been on the pit crew for several noted Albuquerque racers including George Brazil Jr. and Joe Herrera.

 

Dave has continued racing and shows great sportsmanship for the sport. He is always willing to help.
