Curtis Berry Sr.

Curtis began racing in 1962 at Speedway Park in an old 1938 ford jalopy. Being in the military meant that Curtis was transferred away and unable to race every season. But he did race at Speedway Park from 1962 to 1972. Finally, Curtis raced at 7 Flags Raceway in his final season in 1975. The division he ran primarily was the "sportsman" class of open wheeled cars using 20s to 40s jalopy bodies.

Curtis has been retired since about 2002 and resides in New Mexico.
