To
the ABQRacing.com website, where you'll find a
great deal of information about the drivers and
tracks that make New Mexico one of the most
exciting destinations for racing. I'm Curtis
Berry and I'll be your host as you trek through
a site that began as a hobby and has become a
passion.
If
you have any information to add to this site,
such as driver bios/pics and information you
feel that others within the racing community
would be interested in, then please feel free to
email me with whatever you have.
I
look forward to hearing from you!

Excuse Me!
Most of these bio pages need driver information. Now that
the 2010 Season is over, you all have time to sit down and
write me! Send me a
message with info about yourself or a driver you know so friends, family,
fans, and SPONSORS can check them out! I'm also going to
begin announcing birthdays. So if you know a driver's
birthday and I don't already have it in their profile, send
it over.
February 7,
2011 -- The packers won! At least the Steelers fans had
towels handy to wipe away the tears.
The following
driver has updates on their profile!
Mike Ford,
Jr. -- Updated
bio info, added face pic and modified pic.

February 2,
2011 -- Oh man the superbowl is coming! I can't stand either
team but if I gotta pick one, then go Packers!
Anyhow, the
dirt track thing with Sandia is still going on. Should start
up in April, dirt gods permitting. You know it's creating a
buzz when you have the old crusty veterans beginning to
snipe at one another on the
Oval Racin' Message Board. It's like the Hatfields and
the McCoys over there. I try to keep things in perspective
by telling myself that I'm always right heh!
The following
driver has updates on their profile!
Jeff Whyman
-- Updated
bio info. Added face pic and pic of spiffy late model!

January 19,
2011 -- Darned Jets ... Hey did anyone hear about NASCAR
looking to change their points system? Looks like they're
scrapping what they have now in favor of a simple system
where you get more points the better your position instead
of all that other crud. What a concept!
If anyone has
pics of the construction going on at Sandia Motor Speedway
on their new dirt track, send 'em over and I'll post for all
to see!
Anyway, I've
posted some driver bio changes and additions for the
following drivers:
Charlie
Daniels
-- Added some historical pics to
Charlie's Gallery
Gary Guinn
-- Updated his
Driver Bio
Curtis
Steinman
-- Added new bio for
Curtis! (can never have enough Curtises ... Curtis's?
Curtis'? You know what I mean!)

January 14,
2010 -- It's hard to believe over 2 years have passed since
I posted anything to this site. I can't say how disgusted I
was when HH closed, especially after spending all the money
I did on my car and trailer. I took a stab at Sandia
Speedway and ended up blowing a tire and hitting the wall
and busting my big toe. That ended things for me since money
was tight and I wasn't keen on towing out of town to Grants
every week. Boo hoo.
Anyhow, I'm
going to try to get back into maintaining this site more
regularly. I won't be hosting or working on any other sites
any more. I've had a computer crash and lost a couple of
bits of information emailed to my and I apologize. If you
have information regarding driver, such as bios and pics,
send them over! My email address is still good.
Some good
news is that the people at Sandia Motorsports have decided
to concede that this is not an asphalt oval racing town and
is constructing a 3/8 mile dirt track where the motocross
field used to be. For everyone who bitched about not having
a home track, now is your chance to put your money where
your mouth is and get out there to race on the dirt track
once it is
finished. I know I'll be making the effort for as long as my
limited funds are available.
